Made in the Middle - Launch Event

Contemporary craft from the Midlands.

Featuring 37 exceptional artists whose work highlights the wide range of innovative contemporary crafts being made in the Midlands today. Along with the variety of processes, expertise, skills and thinking on display, the exhibition also conveys powerful stories about the world we live in and reflects the influence of global migration on regional creativity. Exhibits are available to buy or commission.

The exhibition will be opened by Darren Henley, Chief Executive, Arts Council England.

The exhibition will be at Leicester Gallery until 22 March 2025.

Transport to and from Birmingham:

We are hiring a coach to take people between Birmingham and Leicester for the evening. There will be small cost of £7 for a return journey between Birmingham New Street and Leicester Gallery. If you would like to book a coach seat, please select the ticket with Coach included.
