Oporajita is a collective impact initiative led by The Asia Foundation, initiated by H&M Foundation, supported by Sweden and COS, bringing together 10 partners — CARE Bangladesh, Build Bangladesh, Circular Apparel Innovation Factory (CAIF), Center for Communication Action Bangladesh (C-CAB), Save the Children, WaterAid, Swisscontact, iDE, and LightCastle Partners. The Asia Foundation is the backbone organization of this Collective, and together, we are working to improve the lives of women in Bangladesh’s Ready-Made Garments (RMG) sector by ensuring safer workplaces, greater opportunities, and stronger voices for women workers.
The exhibition- ‘Made in Resilience’ is more than an event. It is a celebration of the women who form the backbone of the RMG sector. In association with Drik Picture Library Ltd., through photography, we are bringing to life the resilience, aspirations, and leadership of women workers, as well as the collaborative efforts that are reshaping the industry into one that is more inclusive and empowering.
