This concert is kindly sponsored by Finzi Friends.Marking Remembrance Sunday, we present Gerald Finzi's Requiem da Camera, composed to memorialize Ernest Farrar, Finzi's first composition teacher, killed in action in 1918, and all those who ".....spent their lives for us...."
We will also sing Lo, the full, final sacrifice by Finzi. Complementing these works is Bach's Komm, Jesu, komm BMW 229, a richly varied double-chorus work.
There will be heating in the church this year!
