One Drop Music presents Made by Pete
After a great season-opening, we are happy to be back with you on Friday, October 25, with another exciting lineup at Zagreb’s new venue – Lift Club. 💧
This time, we are preparing a fresh sound delivered by Made by Pete, an artist, songwriter, producer and DJ whose music catalogue has been celebrated by many of electronic music’s most notable publications and figureheads. He will be joined by two talented regional DJs, HeroY and Viktor.
🩸 Made by Pete’s DJ career has been marked by Ibiza, at the world’s best club Hi Ibiza with Black Coffee and Damian Lazarus, Pacha with Bedouin and NYC’s infamous Brooklyn Mirage as well as returning to Blue Marlin as a monthly resident for a second successive season. His summer EP on Bedouin’s Human By Default label featured a collaboration with Berlin live act Blindsmyth, showcasing Made by Pete’s eclectic yet identifiable sound. His popularity grew this year with his remixes of Camelphat & Elderbrook’s 2017 hit ‘Cola’ (Defected) and Vintage Culture's ‘Find A Way’, which is an introduction to what he is preparing for the launch of his label in 2025 - ‘Life In Colour’.
🩸 HeroY is a DJ and promoter from Novi Sad, Serbia, whose music selection is greatly influenced by Funk, Soul, and Disco. He shared the desk with many world greats such as Keinemusik, Josh Butler Joris Voorn, Purple Disco Machine, Mark Knight, Darius Syrossian, and many others. After performing at Exit's Dance Arena in 2016, he became its stage manager.
🩸 The captivating magic of Ibiza was the inspiration for Viktor's sound, fusing deep, afro, tech and melodic house. Based in the electronic music paradise that is Croatia and having spent seven years as a resident DJ in club Papaya, one of the top 10 clubs in the world, Viktor is constantly sculpting its sound with smooth but club-shattering beats. He released music on labels such as Rendr, Rawsome Deep, Swerve Digital, Kittball, Under Pressure, Cocoa, My Vision Records.
