Madalynn Mathews uses her eclectic mix of interests to cultivate unique music that forgoes the rules of genre. With her band, The Missing Rapport, Madalynn’s music transforms from bendy blues rhythms and pastoral folk ballads into the history of New York City rock and roll and jazz. All of it done with a 21st century lyrical spin. Madalynn’s original music communicates an open heart with a fierce energy. Also an actor by profession, Madalynn is nothing short of keeping the eyes engaged along with the ears. Madalynn has performed at the likes of Lincoln Center three consecutive years in a row, winning her the Mabel Mercer Foundation’s Julie Wilson Award for promising new talent.
