Join Mad Swirl this 1st Wednesday of November (aka 11.06.24) when we’ll be doin’ the open mic voodoo that we do do at our OC home, BARBARA’S PAVILLION!
Starting at 8pm, hosts Johnny O & MH Clay will get things swirlin' with some musical grooves brought to you by Swirve (Chris Curiel, Gerard Bendiks) followed by our usual open mic madness!
This month we will be celebrating our 20th year of SWIRLIN’ up open mic MADNESS! It’s hard to believe it has been that long since we first hosted our event at Absinthe Lounge back in 2004. Such fine Mad mic memories from back then and a whole lotta new ones to make as we venture forward!

If you have story or poem inspired by our 1st Wednesday madness, bring it along and be a part of our feature set!
We will also be hosting a potluck so bring a savory and/or sweet dish to share. Feel free to bring a crockpot to plug in, or make that recipe you love to share. Mad Swirl will bring the anniversary cake, you bring something to share (art & food), yourself and a mad appetite!
