Come Contra dancing in downtown Burlington with the Mad Robin Contra Collective on the second Friday of the month!
What is Contra Dancing? Contra Dancing is a social dance form based traditional New England folk dance with a dash of modern zest. Some like to say that if swing dance and square dancing met in a bar, you'd get Contra.
What is the Mad Robin Contra Collective? We are a group of experienced and rising local contra dance callers and musicians working together to host dances, improve our skills, and promote contra dancing.
All are welcome at the dance, no experience required, all dances taught. Beginner's Lesson at 7:40, dancing 8-11 PM.
Gender neutral calling, no partner required.

$5-$20 sliding scale
Dress for aerobic activity, and please bring a water bottle and clean, non marking indoor shoes!
