Two guides, one hike - once a summer only!
On this moderate hike, Yampatika will explore the glacial valley through the lens of Yampa Valley's vibrant geologic past as the group hikes to the historical sites. Along the way, Tread of Pioneers Museum staff will share Mad Creek road and area history. Midway through the hike, museum staff will shed light on the iconic Mad Creek Barn and its restoration while the group has a chance to eat and take in the incredible views!
