About this Event

The story of Macuro is that of a town standing up to power to defend its rights—unfazed by the onslaught of state security forces and refusing to yield to the blackmail of the privileged. It is based on actual events that took place in 1988 in Macuro, the site on the Venezuelan Caribbean coast where Christopher Columbus first set foot on American soil.

Our night screenings are legendary: a welcoming cocktail and snacks at donation prices, which is the start of a night where friendships are formed, people create a priceless community space, and all contribute to our charity projects!

The film will start at 8:45. There will be plenty of blankets and the space is protected by a sturdy gazebo.

This event is raising funds for the victims of the Venezuelan double earthquake. Thank you in advance for your support!!!!!
