Join Amanda Taylor, our new friend and owner of Creative Chance, a nonprofit organization whose innovative project is designed to break down social barriers between those with and without disabilities, while promoting, educating, and creating opportunities within the arts for people of all abilities.
In this MACreate class on Friday, August 15th from 10 AM to 12 noon, Participants will learn techniques for abstract painting using a variety of supplies, including both professional and DIY supplies. Adaptive art tools will be available. Participants will create artwork using acrylic paint and canvases, and will be able to take home a finished piece they will be proud of creating. Exploration of creativity, freedom of expression, abstract art concepts, and principles will be introduced. All abilities are welcome. All supplies provided, just bring yourself!
Tuition for this class is $30 for MAC members and $36 for non-MAC members.
