In this class we will make a beautiful 3 stranded 3' plant hanger with beads and a tassel. You will learn the basics of macrame including cord length estimation, the wrap knot, moving into a spiraling half square knot, adding beads, then a square knot, how to make a cradle for your pot and how to finish it all off. We will be using two cord colors to enhance your understanding of how the knots work. If it goes well, I will show you how to make a hanging loop without needing a ring, how to wrap a ring using the half hitch, and maybe even a flower. Please bring a mat/towel or short stool to kneel and or sit on. As we increase the length it’s easier to move down with the project.
Limited to 2 classes in the series per participant- all supplies are included.
Cost: Free!!- participants must pre-register by January 31
