Macon County Household Hazardous Waste Collection

Macon County will be conducting a Household Hazardous Waste Collection on Saturday October 24th, at the Farm Progress Fairgrounds. E 6th progress St, Decatur IL.
We will be collecting the following:
Oil based paints, Paint thinners, insecticides, Antifreeze, Pool Chemicals, Flourescent Light bulbs, Acids, Used Motor Oil, spray paints, household batteries, herbacides, Solvents, old gasoline, lawn chemicles, pesticides, hobby chemicals, cleaning products, Mercury, drain cleaners, E Cigarettes and Vapes.
Items not accepted are as follows:
Latex Paints, Agricultural Wastes, Lead acid Batteries, Farm machinery oil, Fire extinguishers, controlled substances, unwanted medication, Smoke detectors, Propane tanks, ammunition/explosives or fireworks, biohazard waste, and institutional wastes.
