You are invited to the MRBG Friends Assoc Inc. Annual General Meeting 2025 - ‘SUNSET AGM’
It will be held at the Botanic Gardens Meeting Room on
Tuesday August 26.
* Gathering at 5.30pm to view the SUNSET from the Lagoon Outlook Deck looking out over our swale of Golden Everlasting Daisies and Lagoon vistas. * There will be Sipping, Snacking and Socialising... Soups & crusty bread, savoury and sweet finger foods from 6.00pm in the MRBG meeting room
SUNSET - 5.40pm, dusk at 6.10ish. BYO Drinks.
Our short AGM Meeting will begin at 7.00pm with *Guest Speaker - Brendan Rosier >* Mount Martin Tropicals (Nursery) to follow at 7.30pm.

Brendan’s Nursery, Mount Martin Tropicals, located in the beautiful region of Mount Martin near Mirani, is the place to go for a diverse selection of 250+ varieties of tropical, subtropical, and exotic fruit trees.
From popular citrus varieties like Eureka and Meyer lemons, Tahitian and Kaffir limes, various types of mandarins and oranges, Grapefruits and Pomelo's to exotic selections such as Grumichama cherries, Loquat, Wax Jambu and Achacha. The range also includes tropical favourites like Mangoes, Lychees, Avocados and Bananas, Low chill Stone Fruits, Apples and Berries.
Whether you're looking for common backyard trees or rare and unique species, Mount Martin Tropicals has something to suit every gardener's needs. Short on space, no problem, plenty of naturally dwarf size trees are available too.
Brendan will introduce us to FRUITS we can grow in our own backyards. He will bring along a sample of potted Fruit Trees, Shrubs and Vines for display, talk a little about his nursery, share information about each display plant, as well as answer questions you may have about growing them. Some fruits in season will also be available for tasting... Yum!
