Machine Knitting Mini-Camp: Intarsia

Knit a Mug Rug or placemat using a knitting machine with an Intarsia Carriage. We provide the yarn, pattern and instruction. Bring a knitting machine with Intarsia Carriage or use one of our shop machines/carriages. Little to no experience is necessary. You will go home with a finished project. Several yarn color choices will be available.

We will use a standard or bulky knitting machine in class. For those bringing a machine: a ribber is not necessary. If you are bringing a machine we will take some time at the beginning of class to make sure everything is in working order, but repairs will not be done in class.

For those not bringing a machine we will have a standard machine to use.

We will have extra Intarsia Carriages for sale during the event, approximately $35-50 depending on model.

Mini-Camp is a one day Knitting Machine experience for members of Central Minnesota Fiber Arts & Machine Knitting Guild. When space allows, we open the class to the general public. Central MN Fiber Arts & MK Guild meets on the 1st Saturday of each month, 1:30-4:00. The meeting includes fellowship, show-and-tell, and a short demo. Participants do not bring a machine to the meeting. Mini-Camp is an opportunity to bring a machine to knit and learn with other members.
