Machine Knit Dishcloth Mini-Class, Hands-on

Knit a dishcloth or washcloth using a knitting machine. We provide the yarn, pattern and instruction. No experience necessary. You will go home with a finished cotton dishcloth using 100% American cotton. Skills we will use: casting on, setting the machine to pattern in tuck, binding off, burying yarn ends. You will push the carriage across the machine to knit each row.

We will use a standard Brother or Silver Reed/Studio knitting machine in class.

Knitting machines were invented in the 1500's and have been in use for a long time, similar to weaving looms. Come have a fun time knitting a dishcloth!
