• Recognize machine guarding hazards found in general industry.

• Identify the guarding options for the equipment that is found in industry.

• Review other common hazards in general industry other than machine guarding

and best practices for employee protection from recognized hazards.

• Participants will be able to conduct self-inspections and identify safety or health

hazards in the workplace.
