MacGregor Park Oral History Collection and Community Archiving

Help preserve the history of MacGregor Park and the surrounding community!

Join Houston Parks Board, the African American History Research Center (AAHRC), and Houston Public Library (HPL) on Thursday, November 12, from 2:00 to 5:30 PM in the HBDI Training Room (5330 Griggs Rd., Houston, TX 77021) for drop-in community history collection.
Residents are invited to share personal stories, family histories, photographs, and documents related to MacGregor Park and the surrounding Third Ward and OST/South Union neighborhoods.
Stop by anytime between 2:00 PM and 5:30 PM to contribute to this important effort.
We will provide all materials needed for story collection/archiving, as well as refreshments and $5 H-E-B gift cards (while supplies last), all we need is YOU!
