Thirty-seven years ago my older sister, Sandra, lost her battle with a form of childhood cancer called neuroblastoma; a tumor that forms in the adrenal glands of children typically under the age of five. April 19th is her 40th birthday and to honor her/ celebrate what would have been a milestone birthday, I'm hosting a fundraiser. All proceeds will go to the MACC Fund - Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer, Inc., since she was a Macc kid during her short time here. It will be held Saturday April 19th, the day of her actual birthday, at 58 Below. There will be food, music and raffles.
