Mac Barnett and Shawn Harris, The First Cat in Space LIVE!

Join us for an immersive theatrical spectacular with Mac Barnett and Shawn Harris, the authors of The First Cat in Space and the Baby Pirate's Revenge! There will be live music, dramatic performances, and thrilling adventure, all in celebration of the fourth book in the bestselling First Cat in Space graphic novel series. And if you show up dressed as your favorite character from the books, you’ll get a special prize from Shawn & Mac!

This event will take place at the Jeanne d’Arc Auditorium at St. Catherine University and is sponsored by their Masters of Library and Information Science program.

Tickets: A ticket is required to attend this event. Each ticket comes with a pre-signed copy of The First Cat in Space and the Baby Pirate's Revenge. There are two ticket options:

• 1 seat + The First Cat in Space and the Baby Pirate's Revenge
• Family Bundle: 2 seats + The First Cat in Space and the Baby Pirate's Revenge

You can purchase a ticket through November 11, 12:00pm, or for as long as supplies last. Walk-up tickets are available for as long as supplies last.

Additional copies of books from The First Cat in Space series as well as other titles by the author and illustrator will be available for purchase during the event, but if there’s a specific title you want then we recommend ordering it ahead of time through Red Balloon’s website.

Check In: Doors will open at 5:30pm. At check in, guests will provide the name on their ticket order. They will then receive their pre-signed copy of The First Cat in Space and the Baby Pirate's Revenge and receive a ticket that assigns them to a photo op group.

This program will begin at 6:00pm and run for about 45 minutes.

Photo Op: After the program, guests are invited to take a photo with Mac Barnett and Shawn Harris! Photo op groups will be called up one at a time. These groups are determined by the time of check in at the event.

Mac and Shawn will not be signing books at the event, but will pre-sign all copies of The First Cat in Space and the Baby Pirate's Revenge bundled with tickets.
