Mabon Magic in the Woods

Mabon Magic in the Woods is an invitation to connect to the magic of the autumn equinox in the heart of nature.

Connect with like-minded individuals and embrace the changing season in the beauty of the woodland, as we honor the balance between light and dark. Let the magic of Mabon guide you on an enchanting spiritual journey.

If the weather is fair we will host the whole event under the canopy of trees, with a firepit and camp-fire story-telling of autumn abundance. Learn how to dance with your shadow and tap into elemental magic as you tune into the darker half of the year.

If the weather is poor, we'll gather in the inside space to celebrate the magic of this time, with a shorter section of connecting to the woodland outside, wrapped up warm.

Set at Padworth YMCA, with both indoor shelter and outside fire, we offer you an enchanting, 'back to nature' experience of how our ancestors celebrated this time of Autumn and harvest with reconnection to the secrets of the trees and land that we are part of.

While geared to adults, older children are welcome with a responsible adult, but do remember thet remain your responsbility at all times.

With Celtic ceremony, home-made cake and plentiful hot drinks, join us to remember the magic of this time of year in connection with nature.

Accessibility:

While a woodland event - the campfire and hall are close to the carpark - so users with limited mobility will find the event more accessible - although note the car park is not surfaced and can get very muddy in wet weather. The hall has toilet facilities suitable for people with disabilities.
