MABON: A Sacred Sisterhood Gathering

As summer gently gives way to autumn, we gather in sacred circle to honour Mabon and the Autumn Equinox, a moment of balance upon the Wheel of the Year, when day and night stand briefly as equals before we begin our descent into the darker half of the year.

This is an evening devoted to sisterhood, gratitude and a gentle turning inward.

Together we will enter a ceremonial space held with candlelight and intention, where each woman is invited to arrive exactly as she is. Mabon offers us a beautiful threshold... a sacred pause between light and dark, growth and rest, holding on and letting go.

As the Earth begins to draw her energy back towards her roots, we are invited to do the same.

Guided by the warm, open-hearted spirit of Cacao, we will reflect upon the season that has passed and honour all that has grown within us. We will give thanks for what has nourished us, acknowledge what we have gathered along the way, and gently notice what we are ready to lay down before entering the quieter months ahead.

Through a shamanic drum journey, you will be guided into the inner landscape of soul and intuition, listening for the wisdom that becomes easier to hear when we allow ourselves to become still. What are you carrying forward? What can be returned to the Earth? And what within you is asking for rest?

From this place of deep listening, we will soften into a crystal singing bowl sound healing, allowing the body to rest within waves of sound and vibration. A spacious moment to soothe the nervous system, quieten the mind and allow everything we have explored to gently settle.

Our candle ritual will honour the balance of the Equinox, the meeting place between light and shadow. Together, we will offer gratitude for the abundance already present in our lives, release what we no longer wish to carry, and light our intentions for the journey into autumn.

There is something deeply comforting about remembering that we are not separate from the seasons. The trees do not resist the falling of their leaves. The Earth does not bloom endlessly. There are seasons for expansion, and seasons for returning home to ourselves.

Held in warmth, safety and reverence, this circle is an invitation to reconnect with these ancient rhythms, the wisdom of the body and the simple medicine of gathering together in conscious sisterhood.

Together, we honour the harvest.

We honour the light.

We honour the coming darkness.

And we meet ourselves in the sacred place between the two.

Floor beds, blankets, pillows, bolsters and eye masks are provided. Simply bring yourself, a journal and pen, and any seasonal offerings you feel called to place upon our co-created Mabon altar.
