Bio: Antton Bastianaaggi – US Brand Ambassador

Born in the French Basque Country, I developed a passion for gastronomy, culture heritage, and sports – values that shaped my path in the wine industry. After studying international business in Champagne, I pursued technical and commercial roles in renowned vineyards across France and beyond.
From Reims to Medoc, passing through Sancerre, I gained valuable commercial experience while working harvests in Champagne, Saint-Emillion, and Mendoza. These hands-on experiences deepened my understanding of winemaking and different terroirs.
Since early 2024, I’ve had the honor of working with the Chapoutier family. A summer in the vineyards of Tain-l’Hermitage strengthened my respect for their craftsmanship and heritage. Now based in New York, I’m excited to introduce American wine lovers to M. Chapoutier’s exceptional wines, rich history, and values.
I look forward to building lasting connections and sharing the passion, tradition, and excellence that defines M. Chapoutier.
