Lúnasa Gathering: First Harvest
About this Event
Join us for Lúnasa, a gathering to celebrate first harvest. Pause and reflect upon this in-between time: the joy of first harvest with the uncertainty of the main harvest still to come. Summer at its height, but days are already growing shorter and autumn is on its way.
We meet outside, in a circle, and open ourselves to learn from the earth and trees, the waters and sky, and all living beings, human and more than human. This gathering will include contemplative practices, silent wandering, and fellowship. We are a diverse, LGBTQ+ affirming community and welcome all faiths and beliefs. Please join us!
Sign up to receive updates and reminders for the event.
To Bring:
- A folding chair or blanket to sit on.
- Dress to be comfortable outside for an extended period of time. Wear sturdy shoes. Water to stay hydrated and insect repellant are recommended
- Food or drink to share (optional). Bring whatever you'd like. Come share Earth's bounty with friends!
Carpool to reduce our impact on the earth. Please arrive 15 minutes early - it is a 5 - 10 minute walk from the parking lot to the amphitheater.
The gathering will occur regardless of weather. You are invited to join us in experiencing the natural world in all of its seasons. Please dress appropriately. There is a small pavilion onsite we can retreat to during the gathering if needed.
