What happens when photography becomes an act of giving rather than taking?

Through intimate portraits captured in the streets of Pondicherry, French photographer Georges Atamian invites us to reflect on memory, presence and human connection. Each photograph is accompanied by a simple yet profound gesture—the subjects hold a print of their own portrait, creating a moving dialogue between photographer, subject and viewer.
