Realising there was no traditional Hawaiian dance organised for the Friday of the Lytham 40's weekend, Martin Davenport and Marie McCahery have managed to secure a booking at the Lytham Cricket Club.. It is not a large venue and some might remember it being used by Terry Katz many years back. DJ's will be Martin as Swing Central and Marie Mac providing the normal 40's event tunes we know and love.

To avoid disappointment it is advised to not delay buying tickets as it is a smallish venue.
The venue is very much within walking distance of the centre. It is on the other side of Lowther Gardens from the beach area. There is plenty of parking inside the club grounds and on the streets nearby. Bringing snacks and picnic food is OK but drinks should be bought from the bar.
Tables are the hotel circular type with 10 per table, the club will be providing linen.
Doors open 7:00pm and finish 11:00pm. Some ballroom will be played in the first half hour but there is not really enough room for ballroom dancing afterwards.
There will be a doorlist on the door so dont worry about having QR codes.
Dress code is Hawaiian shirts and flowery dresses, navy uniform also encouraged, but smart casual is OK
