We are delighted to welcome journalist, writer, interviewer and memoirist Lynn Barber here to Hatchards this evening to discuss her recently-published book:
A Little Art Education
Lynn claims no skill in art herself but loves hanging out with artists - and has devoted much of her career to interviewing them. From the trials and tribulations of being a juror for the 2006 Turner Prize, dining at the Hotel Meurice with Salvador Dali's ocelot, and her enduring friendships with David Hockney and Tracey Emin, she traces an inspiring journey from curious outsider to finding her place among some of the most admired artists of the last hundred years.
And she is fizzing with stories from her forays into the world of art! So we are delighted that Lynn will be in conversation with Katy Hessel, best-selling author of The Story of Art Without Men (now in paperback) and creator of @thegreatwomenartists.
