Please join us for the next meeting of the Lynchburg Civil War Round Table on January 14 at The Summit retirement community in Wyndhurst on Enterprise Drive! Our guest speaker is a fan favorite from York, PA, Scott Mingus, and his topic will focus on the Battle of Chickamauga and the role Texas soldiers specifically played in that very bloody battle. Dinner cost is $25 and dinner reservations need to made by contacting Kelly Gladden at [email protected]. If just attending for the lecture and not dining, there is no need to make a reservation, just come! If you make a dinner reservation, you are expected to honor it as the LCWRT gets charged per reservation! If necessary to cancel, please do so as promptly as possible so that the headcount can be changed! Dinner served at approximately 6:30pm and Scott's presentation to begin at approximately 7:15pm so plan accordingly. Annual memberships (Single/$40; Family/$60) are encouraged otherwise there is a $10 fee for non-members attending. Since we meet monthly nine times a year from September-May, you can see how a membership can save you money as opposed to "paying as you go" if you plan on attending a majority of our meetings!
