Join us for a 5km guided walk from Lyme Regis to Charmouth.
Our trained, National Trust Walk Lead, will meet you at 10.30am outside the shop at Lyme Regis and guide you on a lovely walk to Charmouth.
Please note the walk does start with some uphill walking as you leave Lyme Regis, which eventually levels out once reaching the golf course. Some people may find this initial uphill section a little tiring.
Once in Charmouth you will have time to enjoy the beach, shops or cafes before getting the bus back to Lyme Regis.
Buses can be caught from the main street in Charmouth (by the church). The ticket will cost £3 (or £1.50 for a child) so please bring money with you to pay (or, of course, bring your bus pass if you have one).
The walk is fully guided and is completely free, you only need to pay for the bus back.
The walk should take no more than two hours but please allow extra time for the bus journey back to Lyme Regis.
To join this walk ensure you can call into the National Trust, Lyme Regis shop at least 24 hours before the walk starts to sign up and leave your details or call the shop on: 01297 445828.
The walk will run on the first Wednesday of the month every month between April and September. Feel free to join us on as many as you like.
