Lyman Garden Club Speaker Series: Planting with the Bigger Picture in Mind

Join the Lyman Garden Club for the next event in our Garden Club Speaker Series on Thursday, September 24 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Community Room at the Middle Tyger Library. Nicole Goodman will present “Planting with the Bigger Picture in Mind,” offering practical guidance for gardeners who want to better understand invasive species, how they affect our environment, and what can be done to avoid introducing new invasive plants into local landscapes.
Nicole serves as the Urban Horticulture Agent and Master Gardener Volunteer Coordinator with Clemson Cooperative Extension in Spartanburg County. This free event is intended for individuals ages 16 and older and is a great opportunity for Lyman Garden Club members and interested guests to learn more about making thoughtful planting choices that support a healthier local environment.
