The Southeast Ohio History Center welcomes Bob Loversidge with his “Think like a Preservation Architect" on May 21 from Noon to 1.Bob will talk about some of his work on the restoration of historic buildings in Ohio and introduce some of his work on treasures in Southeastern Ohio.
Bob Loversidge is an award-winning preservation design architect, a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, and the recently retired CEO of Schooley Caldwell. He is a past chair of the AIA’s National Historic Resources Committee and a recipient of the AIA Ohio Gold Medal. Loversidge is a graduate of The Ohio State University’s Knowlton School of Architecture and a Distinguished Alumnus of the university’s College of Engineering. While at Schooley Caldwell he was principal-in-charge of the renovation of the Ohio Statehouse, where he still serves as an advisor, and the Thomas J. Moyer Ohio Judicial Center, home to the Supreme Court of Ohio.
