Smokey chanteuse/ bass player Catherine McQuade brings her esteemed Melbourne group up for their first Sydney show. Joined by Sydney's Linley Hindmarsh, they will explore songs from Catherine's three solo albums as well as a few Latin tinged standards. Dark themes, moody lyrics interlaced with breezy bossa numbers - the achingly sweet tones of soprano sax and cello set against spacious rhythms and effortless grooves.
