About this Event

Meet Abigail and Kristie at Camera Centre in Cardiff, then head over together to Cathays Park for a live maternity photography session showing how high-end imagery is created outside of a studio.

Watch how they direct posing, introduce movement, manage gown techniques, and use off-camera flash in real time to build strong, dynamic portraits from the ground up. You'll then have the chance to photograph the model yourself, putting these techniques into practice with hands-on guidance throughout.

This is a practical session for photographers who want to feel confident directing maternity clients and creating impactful images in everyday locations. You'll leave with a repeatable approach you can use with your own clients straight away.

Just 10 places available, so everyone gets proper time with the model and one-to-one support on the day.

Please arrive 10 minutes before the session start time at Camera Centre, 14-16 Morgan Arcade, Cardiff, CF10 1AF.

• Comfortable outdoor clothing and footwear
• Spare memory card/battery if you have one

Weather note

This is an outdoor session, so if conditions aren't on our side we'll move to a nearby covered location. Either way, the session goes ahead and you'll still get everything you came for.
