Join Grace Lutheran Church for a "Liturgical Lockbox" presentation by Rev. Dr. John Bombaro (Sr. Pastor @ St. James Lutheran Church - Lafayette, IN). EDIT: For clarification on the topic's main theme, the “Liturgical Lockbox” means our worship protects and delivers the Good News of Jesus just as He gave it—through Word and Sacrament. In the Divine Service, Christ Himself delivers His gifts, so we guard the liturgy to keep the Gospel pure and central, similar to how a physical lockbox is used to keep our belongings "under lock and key." It’s not about adding traditions, but about keeping the Gospel front and center so everyone receives Christ’s gifts as He intended.
We will have a potluck meal at 5:30p followed by Rev. Dr. Bombaro's keynote presentation, as well as a time for questions and discussion.
