LUSH Derby Eid Henna Event

This Eid we’ll be celebrating in store by offering 15 minute henna sessions with our professional henna artist Henna By Alhena!

You’ll have a choice of simple designs on the day. Please arrive 10 minutes before your alloted time slot to ensure there is enough time to complete a patch test, and to make sure that everyone can get their henna done. Also please ensure that your hand is easily accessible in the clothing you are wearing as this is where it’ll be applied.

Henna usually takes 10-15 minutes to dry and 24-48 hours to fully develop, so listen to our expert as she talks you through the post application process.

Please let staff know if you have any allergies, as we cannot guarantee no allergens in products. All children will need an adults permission to participate.

Henna, or Mehndi, is a dye and art form that has been used for thousands of years in many cultures. Evidence of henna use dates back to ancient Egypt, Babylon, and India. The Egyptians used henna to dye hair, nails, and mummies, the Romans used henna to dye hair. In the Indian subcontinent, henna is used in festivals, weddings, and religious ceremonies.

The £2.50 payment covers a small slice of Watermelon Soap, which you will recieve on the day. 75% of profits for this soap go towards medical aid in Gaza.
