Led by Chef Greg – With over 40 years of restaurant experience, Chef Greg’s passion for cooking comes from his Okinawan mother. He trained at Benihana in San Diego,later transferring to Cupertino, and continued honing his craft in San Jose and at Fuki Sushi in Los Altos. Since 2015, he has been a resident and guest chef at Lupin.

Visit the Lexington Reservoir.
Just 8 minutes from Lupin Lodge, Lexington Reservoir County Park is a perfect spot for kayaking, paddleboarding, and canoeing. This beautiful 950-acre park features a serene 338-acre reservoir, offering peaceful waters surrounded by stunning natural scenery. A quick inspection is required, with a $5 fee per kayak, $4 entrance fee, and $6 parking fee.

Bear Creek Redwoods Open Space Preserve
Just 10 minutes from Lupin Lodge, Bear Creek Redwoods Open Space Preserve offers over 10 miles of scenic hiking and equestrian trails winding through lush redwoods, Douglas fir, and oak woodlands. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Sierra Azul Range and explore the easy-access, self-guided trail around Upper Lake. The preserve is home to diverse wildlife, including mountain lions, bobcats, western pond turtles, various bat species, salamanders, belted kingfishers, and northern red-shafted flickers. Birdwatchers may even spot a bald eagle soaring overhead.
