Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals invite you to join us for an exclusive event tailored specifically for GPs like you who are looking to enhance their skills and knowledge in respiratory diagnostics and management of patients. This will be an in-person event in the Concert Hall at Harefield Hospital.
Agenda
An overview of the importance of lung health for primary care providers. We will cover the common lung conditions seen in primary care such as asthma, COPD, pneumonia, lung cancer. There will be an emphasis on early recognition, diagnosis, and initial management strategies. A review of diagnostic tools used in lung health such as spirometry, chest X-rays, CT scans, and the ION robot. We will share updates on the latest treatment guidelines for asthma and COPD and emerging therapies and technologies in lung cancer management.
Learning objectives
- Management of respiratory infections in a primary care setting.
