Did you know that most eligible individuals are not being screened for lung cancer? Join us for National Lung Cancer Screening Day and help save lives by increasing awareness of lung cancer screening in all our communities. A quick scan can make a big difference in your health.
This is a NO-COST event, thanks in part to the Carle Health Center for Philanthropy.
Pre-screening recommended but walk-ins welcome. Call us at (309) 672-3189 to see if you qualify for a screening.
Who should get screened?
If you meet the following criteria, you may qualify for low dose CT lung screening:
Between the age of 50 and 80.
Asymptomatic.
Have smoked an average of one pack of cigarettes a day for 20 or more years.
Current smoker or one who has quit smoking within the last 15 years.
Free screenings are also available this day and time at Carle Health Pekin Hospital.
