~!~ National Day Of The Cowboy Barrel Race and Rodeo ~!~
Thursday Night Barrel Race, PLUS the top 2 from each D will receive an invitation to compete two nights later at the Saturday Night Rodeo. We will take the 10 contestants from the barrel race (2 from each D) and they will face off at the rodeo against each other for a chance to win a Buckle! Each contestant at the rodeo will run against the other competitor who qualified from their division. If a Thursday night winner cannot attend the rodeo we will take the 3rd place contestant and they will receive that invitation. Each invitation gets that contestant a Rodeo ticket along with 1 companion pass to the rodeo. Any other guests will need to purchase a ticket and there is a possibility of tickets being sold out by then. If you receive a rodeo invitation your rodeo entry is free and there is no entry fee to compete but also no payout at the rodeo just the payout from the Thursday race and you are competing on Saturday at the rodeo for the buckle. This will be amateur rodeo (no associations) but will be a full rodeo with additional events and a packed stands! -------------------------------------------------------------------
All riders must sign a release of liability which will include a Covid-19 waiver and a waiver addressing the current 2022 equine virus (if still necessary) stating that your horse hasn't had a fever within 72 hours and hasn't had contact with any ill horses within 14 days. Riders 17 and under must wear helmets.
*We may have to briefly pause the race during the sunset if the sun interferes with the timers or with the rider's vision between the first and second barrel. While we will make every effort to anticipate this issue and pause the race if necessary, it is the sole responsibility of each rider to verify that the sun will not cause them a problem prior to beginning their run. Each rider and horse is different and what can impact one rider may not impact all riders equally. We will handle any request to pause the race or move your draw number at our discretion upon your request prior to the start of your run. We will not offer re-runs after you have run so please ask before your run if you think it will be an issue.

DIRECTIONS:
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Jackpots are held at George Ingall's Equestrian Event Center at 3737 Crestview Dr, Norco, CA 92860.
The address is on Crestview but the directions are as follows: Take I-15 to the Sixth Street exit in Norco, CA. Head east on 6th street until it dead ends. When the street dead ends you just keep driving straight into a dirt driveway which leads you right into the arena. This chain link gate is labeled as gate #1. Occasionally during construction this gate is closed and you have to enter off of Crestview Dr. where there are 2 or 3 additional gates to get to the arenas.
