Lundale Farm’s Annual Sunflower Festival is our biggest fundraiser of the year and one of the best days on the farm! We open our gates to welcome families, friends, and neighbors to enjoy a day full of fun, sunflowers, and community spirit—all while supporting a great cause.30 local artisans and makers will be set up, offering everything from handmade goods to farm-fresh products. It’s a great chance to shop local and connect with the talented makers in our community. Stroll through the vendor area, find unique gifts, and celebrate the beauty of the season.
While you’re here, take a tractor tour of the farm—kids love getting an up-close look at how Lundale works, and you’ll get to hear the story of how we support local farmers. There’s also a kids craft table and plenty of family-friendly activities for everyone to enjoy.
All proceeds from the festival support Lundale Farm’s mission to provide affordable land and housing to farmers practicing sustainable, organic, and regenerative agriculture. By joining us, you’re helping farmers grow healthy food and take care of the land—right here in our region.

Volunteer tasks include:
🌻 Welcoming festival-goers, checking tickets, and helping with on-site ticket sales
🚗 Directing cars to parking areas and guiding guests to the exits
🍻 Selling beer and raffle tickets, handling cash or card payments, and answering guest questions
🎟️ Recording raffle participants’ info clearly so we can notify winners
🎨 Keeping the kids’ craft table stocked and helping little ones with their sunflower-themed keepsakes
♻️ Assisting with trash and recycling to keep the farm beautiful!

Frequently Asked Questions
Where do I park?
Parking will be in a grass field, which might be a little bumpy and uneven. We will have designated parking spaces available for handicap accessibility.
Are dogs allowed?
For the safety of your furry friends (and our guests), dogs are not allowed at the event. With traffic, tractors, and lots of people moving around, it’s safest to leave pets at home.
Is the event rain or shine?
Yes! The event is rain or shine—except in the case of severe weather. We’ll keep you updated on any weather-related changes all the way up to festival day. A little rain won’t slow us down, but a hurricane might!
What should I bring?
A sunhat, sunscreen, and a reusable water bottle (we’ll have a refill station!)
Chairs or a blanket—there’s no seating provided, so bring what you need to be comfortable
Comfortable shoes for walking around the farm
Cash is king! Some vendors accept cards, but having cash on hand is helpful
Are there bathrooms?
Yes! We’ll have portable toilets on-site, including an ADA-accessible unit.
