About this Event
Westminster Music Library welcomes pianist Cèlia Margalef Boquera for a free lunchtime concert in a relaxed environment. All are warmly welcome at this event.

Cèlia Margalef Boquera is a Catalan pianist based in London. She studied at the Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu in Barcelona with Tensy Krismant, supported by a Ferrer-Salat Excellence Scholarship, and completed a Master of Music and an Artist Diploma at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance under the guidance of Prof. Mikhail Kazakevich. She has received First Prizes at competitions including the John Longmire Beethoven Competition and the Trinity Laban English Song Competition, and was awarded the "Rosa Sabater" Prize for Best Spanish Pianist at the Vigo International Piano Competition (2024). Cèlia has performed widely across the UK and Spain in venues such as the Palau de la Música Catalana, Queen’s House, St James’ Church Piccadilly, and the Fundació Joan Miró in Barcelona as part of the Barcelona Obertura Ciutat de Clàssica Festival. Alongside her concert activity, she teaches and serves as organist at St John on Bethnal Green Church in London.
