Xinping Gao, flutist, has gained recognition as a prize winner in numerous flute competitions, such as the Chinese Flute Association Competition, Hong Kong International Music Competition, Quebec Music Competition, Grand Virtuoso Prize Bonn and Nicholas Blake Woodwind Ensemble Award, etc. She has also passed qualified rounds in Osaka International Music Competition, Tokyo International Flute Competition, Krakow Flute Competition.

Throughout her musical journey, Xinping has held principal flutist in China Youth Symphony Orchestra, Beijing Contemporary Ensemble, and the Royal College of Music Philharmonic Orchestra. She has given performances at the National Centre for the Performing Arts, Shanghai Grand Theatre, Royal Festival Hall, Duke's Hall, and Regent Hall.

Currently pursuing an Artist Diploma at the Royal College of Music, she holds an MA degree from the Royal Academy of Music and completed her undergraduate studies at the Central Conservatory of Music.

Chinese-born violist Jiayun Long has been actively concertising in the international scene.

After moving to the UK in 2019, she performed throughout the UK as a soloist and chamber musician. She has performed solo and chamber recitals at various venues in the UK including the University of Leeds, St. James the Less Church in Pimlico, All Saints’ Parish Church, St. Mark’s Hamilton Terrace St. Michael’s Highgate and St. James Church Sussex Garden. She has received a scholarship and participated in the British Isles Music Festival in Godalming in 2022. Other masterclasses she was selected to perform include those by Hartmut Rohde, Michael Kugel, and Nokuthula Ngwenyama.

Before moving to the UK in China, Jiayun’s solo and chamber career was highlighted by being a featured soloist for orchestras, playing at the reception of the Queen of Thailand, and the Embassy of Switzerland in China; famous venues she performed at include the National Centre for the Performing Arts and the Beijing Concert Hall.

Jiayun started receiving musical training at the age of 6 and was admitted into the Middle School attached to the Xinghai Conservatory of Music. In 2019, she received her bachelor’s degree from the China Conservatory of Music studying with Prof. Su Zhen and received her master’s degree and professional diploma from the Royal Academy of Music, studying under Prof. Yuko Inoue. Currently, she is pursuing her Doctor of Music degree in viola performance at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, researching the viola performance tradition of Lionel Tertis.

Ruohua Li is currently pursuing her Artist Diploma at the Royal College of Music. She received her Master degree at the Royal Academy of Music and her Bachelor degree from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.

Whilst studying in UK, Ruohua has developed her performance skills not only on solo music playing but also on chamber music and orchestral music playing. She was invited to play the Dvorak Bass Quintet op. 77 with The Fitzroy Quartet and last year she played with the Kaleidoscope and performed a concert at the Wigmore Hall. In 2022, with the Royal Academy of Music Symphony Orchesta, Ruohua performed Mahler Symphony No.3 with Semyon Bychkov in Royal Festival Hall. She also recorded her first Bach Partita album with the Royal Academy of Music Chamber orchestra conducted by Trevor Pinnock.

Ruohua also has given the opportunity to play alongside with London Symphony Orchestra; Philharmonia Orchestra; London Philharmonic Orchestra; BBC Symphony Orchestra; BBC National Orchestra of Wales; London Sinfonietta and Royal Birmingham Ballet ect.

Ruohua also participated in a variety of competitions and festivals such as the Tang Rhyme Carnival International Double Bass Competition, Maggini International Double Bass

Competition, the Tunbridge Competition, the Lan Yang International Double Bass Summer Camp and the Hatfield House Chamber Music festival.
