Lunchtime Art Yarn: Explore First Nations art from the Gallery collection
Beginning her journey at the Ernabella Arts Centre in 2007, Carlene quickly developed a distinctive artistic voice, notably through her exceptional stoneware ceramics. Her contemporary approach to form, texture and surface has earned her wide recognition, with her work showcased alongside some of Australia’s leading ceramicists.
This session invites participants to explore the techniques, stories and inspirations behind Carlene’s practice along with other Ceramic artists from Ernabella Arts Centre. In this hands-on creative session, we will respond to her work’s subtle sophistication, rhythmic patterning and strong sense of place.
