Join us as MillHouse Studio Artist and classically trained vocal musician Anita Moore, introduces us to the exciting world of the female artists who blazed the trail. In the 3rd installment of this series, we will explore the life and legacy of a groundbreaking female artist who helped reshape the art world and paved the way for generations to come.
Mary Cassatt, an American-born painter who spent much of her career in France, became a leading figure in the Impressionist movement. Renowned for her intimate and tender portrayals of mothers and children, Cassatt brought a uniquely feminine perspective to a male-dominated art scene, capturing the quiet strength and emotional depth of women's everyday lives.
