Artificial Intelligence is already changing how many people work, write, research, and communicate. At the same time, there are many questions about how these tools should be used, what their limits are, and what they mean for our communities.This workshop offers a practical introduction to AI tools and how people are beginning to use them in everyday work. We’ll look at simple examples that can help reduce busywork and save time, while also discussing important considerations around accuracy, ethics, and responsible use.
You don’t need any technical experience to attend. Whether you’re curious, skeptical, or already experimenting with AI, this workshop is designed to help you better understand what these tools can, and cannot, do.
Major technology shifts have often left some people behind, especially smaller organizations and under-resourced communities. One responsible step we can take is to ensure more people understand what’s happening and have the opportunity to learn how these tools are used.
