From Inclusion to Belonging: Using Children's Literature to Help Every Child Feel Seen: Belonging goes beyond being included—it is the experience of being welcomed, valued, and loved for who you are.
In this workshop, New York Times bestselling author Heather Avis explores how children's literature can become a powerful tool for helping students build empathy, celebrate differences, and create communities where everyone belongs.
This event is FREE for educators, caregivers, parents and anyone interested. Space is limited. Lunch will be served at 12:30pm with Heather's presentation beginning at 1pm.
