About this Event
Join UF/IFAS Extension Polk County and Haines City Water Utilities to learn how to create beautiful, low-maintenance landscapes that thrive in Florida’s unique environment. We will walk you through the principles of Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ to help you design outdoor spaces that conserve water, reduce runoff, and require less inputs—while still looking fantastic. Whether you're planning a complete yard makeover or just want to enhance what you already have, this workshop is for you!
Registration is preferred and seating is limited. Lunch is included for pre-registered, in-person participants that are registered by August 12, 2025. Anyone registering after that is welcome to attend, but may not be provided lunch.
Workshop is presented by UF/IFAS Extension Polk County and Haines City Water Utilities.
If any accommodations are needed, please contact Julie Schelb at 863-519-1041 or [email protected]. Requests should be made as soon as possible but at least ten days prior to the scheduled meeting.
We collect demographic information to ensure equitable access to Extension programs by all of our audiences. Each individual's participation is optional.
