Helpful resources and strategies for Family Caregivers!

Join Denise Meza-Mathews, Social Worker and Program Manager of the Family Caregiver Alliance of Rhode Island to learn about programs, resources and strategies available for the growing number of Family Caregivers in Rhode Island. From accessing respite to paid family leave and long term services and supports care-giving options, this trauma informed session will focus on the role of Family Caregivers in care teams, providing information on services and supports for those who provide care for someone with a disability, a friend or family who is aging or navigating complex medical and increasing the voice of caregivers in advocacy. Because Family Caregivers deserve support too!
ASL interpreter & captions will be available.
The 211 Van will also be present to assist with a variety of resource needs.
