About this Event
Join us for a special Lunch and Learn session exploring the future of urban greening with award-winning horticultural designer Daniel Bell, whose innovative vertical gardens can be seen in landmark projects across London including the Kensington and Chelsea Town Hall to the Athenaeum, and 120 King's Road.
This is a unique opportunity to learn how vertical planting is transforming city landscapes by turning walls, hoardings and forgotten spaces into living features that improve air quality, boost biodiversity and create a beautiful environment for everyone to enjoy.
FSQ has recently secured Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) funding to deliver a striking new vertical planting scheme on the hoardings at 120 Fleet Street. While construction is paused we’re seizing the chance to green the space and bring new life to this part of the Quarter.
We’re inviting our business community to be part of the project. Week commencing April 20th , by volunteering half a day or ideally a full day, you’ll get hands on experience building and planting a vertical garden and help transform a key site in the heart of Fleet Street Quarter.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or a passionate gardener this is an opportunity for those of all experience levels. Come along to this Business Breakfast to find out more!
