Join us to learn from local archaeologist Tim Spahr all about the archaeological research that’s been conducted in the Cape Porpoise Archipelago since 2016. Tim Spahr is the principal investigator of the Cape Porpoise Archaeological Alliance (CPAA), a partnership program of the Brick Store Museum and Kennebunkport Conservation Trust. This program encourages citizen science efforts in documenting evidence of sites threatened by global sea level rise. Research has documented 7,000 years of human occupation providing new information to the archaeological record of the Far Northeast. Held in Mather Auditorium. Suggested donation: $5/person. No registration required.
