Lunar Rest + Return is a monthly gathering for queer moon lovers. This event offers a nurturing and introspective space for self-discovery and community care. Each month, you can expect:

* Astrological Exploration: Dive into astrology, specifically focusing on the moon's position in the sky and how it relates to other celestial bodies. This can provide insights into emotional states, personal growth, and potential life changes associated with lunar phases. gain a deeper appreciation for the moon's significance and its influence on our lives.

* A Practice in Rest: Embrace the opportunity to unwind through gentle yoga asana. Rest is essential for our mental and physical well-being, yet many of us aren't taught how how to rest. Find guidance on how to soften and release your body.

* A Return to Yourself: Engage in self-reflection through meditation, journaling, and community discussion. Together, we'll create a supportive environment for deep listening and personal growth.

*Optional Lunar Care Package: This Lunar Care Package includes a candle, crystal, and a mystery gift. Your care package will arrive *after* the event, and can be incorporated into your personal practice or at a future Lunar R+R gatherings.

Alishiya Kapoor (She/They) is a Dominican and Indian American queer human. Alishiya values moving with the seasons, being in community and coming back to the self. These values show up in their yoga practice and teachings. She dreams of creating spaces that allow others to just be, slow down, and reimagine our worlds.
